How do I get to Elmwood?

Elmwood is twenty five minutes from the Peoria Airport.

Elmwood is forty minutes from the Amtrak Station in Galesburg.

Coming From Peoria or East:

When driving to Elmwood you may take Interstate 74 West

to Brimfield-Oak Hill (exit 75)  turn Left (South) on Peoria County Highway R25

to Intersection with IL Route 8 turn Right (West)

to IL Route 78 turn Left (South) into Downtown

Coming from Galesburg or West: 

When driving to Elmwood you may take Interstate 74 East

to Kewanee/Canton (exit 71)  turn Left (South) on Peoria County Highway R18

to Intersection with Peoria County Highway D30 (Shissler RD) turn Right (West)

to IL Route 78 turn Left (South) into Downtown

Coming from Canton, Farmington or South: 

When driving to Elmwood you may use IL Route 78 into Downtown

Coming from Kewanee, Galva or North: 

When driving to Elmwood you may use IL Route 78 into Downtown

Coming from Maquon, Yates City or West: 

When driving to Elmwood you may use IL Route 8 into Downtown

Here are three options, but there are many more.

A)  Northwoods Mall area take Sterling AVE to Reservoir RD

        Reservoir RD west to IL Route 8 follow to Elmwood

B) Peoria Downtown area Main ST  to Farmington RD

     turn Right (West) on Farmington RD  to IL Route 8

    turn Right (North) on IL Route 8  follow to Elmwood

C) Peoria Airport  to IL 116 west 

    then  turn Right (North) on County Highway R25 (Texas RD) 

    then turn Left (West) on County Highway D41

    Follow County Highway 41 to County Highway R14 turn Right (North)

   County Highway R14 becomes Lilac Street as you enter Elmwood
